About the Team:
CDP’s Sales function is responsible for generating sales of CDP products to new customers, as well as renewing existing customers and identifying greenfield opportunities within the existing book of business. The Sales function is market and customer oriented and establishes go-to market strategies that serve key personas across financial corporates, non-financial corporates, and distributors and channels. The Sales function works closely with M&C and Customer Success to deliver a smooth customer experience.
Key relationship management function in market, overseeing the renewals book of business and identifying greenfield opportunities to expand relationships with existing customers.
About this role:
As a CDP Market Director, you will have dual responsibilities: serving as the Sub-Regional Market Head and leading the Relationship Management function. In your role as Sub-Regional Head, you will be the senior market-facing representative, engaging with customers at the most senior level and representing CDP at events. Additionally, you will operate within a matrixed organizational structure, providing leadership and guidance to the team. Leading the relationship management function, you will oversee renewals, responsible for the custody and cultivation of the existing book of business.

Manage an effective and engaged team, clear on its purpose and contribution, by:
Working with the Talent Attraction team to identify and recruit the right talent to the team
Providing focus and direction, through regular 1:1’s, setting clear objectives, providing ongoing, honest feedback, recognition, structured performance and development conversations, and helping with solutions
Ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace, where team members can communicate openly, share knowledge so it can be used, and respect difference. Help resolve conflict as appropriate
Living the CDP Values and demonstrating the behaviours appropriate to their position
Strategic Growth Planning:
Collaborate with the CRO to develop a comprehensive strategic growth plan focused on revenue-generating activities for the region. This plan should align with the overall business objectives and drive sustainable growth
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Foster seamless collaboration among Sales team members (business development and relationship managers), Customer Success teams (under CDO), and Marketing & Communications (under CMO) to ensure an exceptional client experience. This includes facilitating effective communication and coordination across departments.
Net Renewal Rate (NRR) Achievement:
Achieve the sub-regional Net Renewal Rate (NRR) budget by providing tactical advice and support to Relationship Management teams. This involves analyzing performance metrics and implementing strategies to improve client retention.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution:
Execute go-tomarket (GTM) initiatives effectively, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the strategic growth plan and market demands.
External Representation:
Represent CDP at key external events, including speaking engagements at conferences. This role requires strong public speaking skills and the ability to articulate CDP's value proposition to diverse audiences.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and client feedback. This includes conducting regular market research and using insights to inform strategic decisions.
