Our Space and Defense Group in East Aurora, NY is looking for a Sr. Project Manager – Supply Chain Excellence to join our dynamic team! This Sr. Project Manager – Supply Chain Excellence will report to the Director of Supplier Quality Excellence and act as a strategic partner to Moog’s Operating Group Supply Chain teams.

As our This Sr. Project Manager – Supply Chain Excellence, you will make critical contributions by holding responsibility for:

  • Lead a team to develop, document, and maintain standardized, best-in-class supply chain processes

  • Lead process reviews, gap assessments, and maturity evaluations to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Partner with operating groups & functional leaders to understand strategic priorities, business challenges, and improvement opportunities.

  • Facilitate alignment between global standards and local/business-specific requirements.

  • Prioritize initiatives based on strategic alignment, value delivery, and organizational capacity.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business outcomes

  • Prepare executive-level presentations that translate complex operational topics into actionable insights.

  • Coach and mentor team members, developing goals and growth opportunities for direct reports. 

To be considered for the Sr. Project Manager – Supply Chain Excellence role, you will need to bring with you:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, continuous improvement, or process excellence roles

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing standardized processes across complex organizations.

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and initiatives, working collaboratively within a multicultural, geographically dispersed environment.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and formal presentation skills

Key Skills and Competencies include:

  • Strong ability to lead through influence without direct authority

  • Skilled facilitator capable of aligning diverse stakeholders with competing priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, actionable messages.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain policies, processes, and tools

  • Deep understanding of process design, standard work creation, process governance, and continuous improvement methodologies
