About the role

Breef is the world's first agency marketplace. As the modern outsourcing solution, our platform connects leading brands with leading agencies for all their digital and creative needs. Our product is changing the future of work and is a first-of-its-kind solution for high-value transactions.

Our team is seeking a contract, Senior Brand Designer to help refine our brand foundation across the Breef platform, website, and digital channels. We are looking for someone who can support a refresh of the Breef brand — and translate that vision into an actionable direction, style guide, and set of components that can be leveraged by the larger design, product and marketing teams.
This engagement will be focused on supporting our brand refresh in a series of defined sprints. There may be opportunity for a longer engagement to lead design across various channels, assets, and mediums going forward.
Your day to day is to…

Evolve the overall direction and foundation of the Breef brand
Help to create a cohesive brand book that can be used by the larger design and marketing teams
Create a component kit that can be leveraged across our website and platform
Reconsider core brand elements like our fonts, icons, and secondary colors
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams on asset creation, ideas, inspiration and concepts
Help lead the foundational design for core brand assets such as decks and email templates

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

7+ years of proven experience in design leadership for startups, B2B organizations and / or agencies
Experience leading design across an organization - supporting the website, product, and marketing needs
Experience designing in Figma and extreme familiarity with its offerings / capabilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

This is a part-time role, requiring about 15 hours per week in a series of defined sprints. There is the possibility for this role to scale up in hours.
