About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to work with advanced database technologies and contribute to maintaining and enhancing the data infrastructure critical to organizational success.

WORKSITE: Remote

WORK SCHEDULE: EST. Monday-Friday

COMPENSATION: $57.00 -$62.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Implement and optimize computerized database systems supporting daily operations.
  • Manage the smooth operation and physical design of databases.
  • Conduct performance tuning of indexes and databases, review database design, and recommend enhancements or improvements.
  • Ensure database security and integrity by formulating and enforcing policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Administer a variety of Database Management Systems (DBMS), such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Develop stored procedures, and triggers, and manage database replication across servers and remote sites.
  • Oversee database projects, transaction log backups, notifications, and data recovery processes.
  • Collaborate with Database Designers and Information System Analysts to develop and implement SQL and web-based databases.
  • Review technical designs, reports, and other documentation while maintaining high-level reporting systems.
  • Create and validate Oracle database components, such as indexes, data views, and stored procedures.
  • Develop and execute SQL bulk insert programs for legacy data conversion and ensure the integrity of data migration.
  • Strengthen database security and install/configure Oracle server instances.



WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or high school diploma/equivalent with 9+ years of experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
  • Proven expertise in installing and configuring Oracle servers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and other DBMS technologies.
  • Hands-on experience creating Oracle indexes, data views, user functions, column indexes, and stored procedures.
