Provides planning, oversight, and high-level technical expertise and coordination for transportation programs involving construction of transportation systems and traffic operations in accordance with Department standards. Develops and/or interprets guidelines, regulations, laws, policies and procedures for area of responsibility. Work requires contact with governmental officials, consultants, contractors and private entities.
