Financial Controller

Lawrence Doors, a leading manufacturing and distribution company and a part of ASSA ABLOY – the global leader in opening solutions - is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to direct our local accounting team. This role involves financial interpretation and planning, cost accounting, inventory management, and providing comprehensive financial support to our manufacturing facility.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and train staff to ensure high morale and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Coordinate annual audit with external auditors to ensure timely reports.
- Manage the planning and preparation of weekly forecasts and midyear and annual budgets.
- Develop and maintain procedures to ensure an accurate perpetual inventory.
- Coordinate annual inventory counts.
- Provide managerial accounting information to support business operations.
- Prepare and present financial results and variance analysis.
- Maintain working knowledge of ERP System.
- Establish all general accounting policies to ensure compliance with ASSA ABLOY Accounting Guidelines.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Five to seven years’ experience in manufacture/distribution accounting environment using fully automated accounting system is preferred.
- CPA certificate is preferred.
- Management experience is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
The Details:
We offer a competitive salary based on experience and we understand the value of work-life balance. Compensation ranges from $129,306 - $180,271*.
