About the role
As the Finance Manager, Commercial Planning & Analysis, you will provide direction, guidance, and strategic insights through complex and interpretive financial analyses for the commercial organization, including Sales, Brand Marketing, Demand, and Insights. Serve as a strategic business partner to internal customers and stakeholders to maximize financial outcomes and optimize forecasting and planning processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead comprehensive financial analysis and reporting for the commercial organization, including development of executive level reporting and insights.
- Lead the development of metrics, scorecards, and standard reporting to drive profitable and timely business decisions. Provide commentary and progress tracking monthly against defined metrics.
- Provide strategic insights, analysis and recommendations relating to current & future business performance, including the identification of potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop necessary processes to support internal forecasting/reporting requirements resulting in optimized forecast accuracy.
- Analyze complex problems or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
- Partner with Corporate FP&A and IT to drive system enhancements and focus on continuous improvements that will impact overall business processes.
- Champion change management behaviors and influence business partners.
- Manage ad hoc projects/requests

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 7 + years finance leadership experience, including 2 + years interacting with executive level stakeholders.
- Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry required.
- Knowledge - Knowledge of financial processes; including modeling, control, analysis, reporting and budgeting.
- Skills - Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excel (can perform complex functions) and Hyperion Essbase skills. Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Abilities - Collaborative abilities in building business partnerships. Attention to detail and accuracy, multi-tasking abilities and effectively manage priorities. Must be results-driven and able to deal with ambiguity and change.
