What You'll Do 

As a part-time Insurance Sales Trainee, you will: 

• Engage with prospective customers through inbound and outbound sales conversations 

• Convert warm leads into customers using a proven consultative sales strategy  

• Assist customers with insurance quotes and coverage recommendations from Allstate products and products within the Allstate family of companies, including National General 

• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development activities 

• Work from home in a fast-paced call center to drive sales growth while delivering an exceptional, customer-first experience. 

When and where you will work:  

• Your schedule will accommodate 20 hours per week (including nights and weekends), allowing flexibility to balance with your coursework, with opportunities for additional hours during peak seasons. 

• Dedicated, private, distraction-free home workspace (equipment provided) 

Requirements 

• Candidates must be actively enrolled in a 4-year college, 2-year community college, and or technical program during the full duration of the trainee program. Students are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to apply. 

• Ability to obtain a Personal Lines or Property & Casualty Producer license with Allstate’s support 

• Sales Representatives are required to obtain and maintain all required resident and non-resident Producer licenses necessary to sell insurance products in any state designated by Allstate. This includes obtaining non-resident Producer licenses in all states as required for the role. 

• Reliable high-speed internet with wired connection (Ethernet) 

Compensation & Benefits 

• Base Pay: $18/hour + incentive 

• Incentives are productivity-based and governed by the applicable bonus plan, which is subject to change at Allstate’s discretion.
