The Role at a Glance
This position is responsible for leading strategic technology programs and effectively influencing leadership on technology strategies and opportunities for transformation. They will also drive the strategic development of governance and supplier relationship policies and practices.
What you'll be doing
- Evaluates organizational needs and recommends suitable technical solutions that would improve business performance.
- Directs the establishment of IT organizational goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
- Advises senior leadership on technology strategies and risks, and identifies process improvement and efficiency opportunities, capitalizing on unique market trends and best practices to provide a competitive advantage to the enterprise.
- Ensures technology plans are aligned with the organization’s overall business plans and specific strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Proactively provides market research on technology trends and needs. Translates the research into business improvement opportunities and/or the technology roadmap for Lincoln.
- Oversees the development of performance metrics to track, assess, and improve performance on IT organizational goals.
- Ensures alignment with the technology strategy formulation, the QBR process, the selection and execution of prioritized initiatives.
- Directs and sets priorities for high-profile special initiatives and projects to ensure objectives are met and aligned with the enterprise strategy.
- Provides direction to internal stakeholders in the execution of strategic and transformational programs/initiatives.
- Anticipates and provides solutions to high complexity program management issues or conflicts.
- Drives and directs the development of governance policies and practices and partners with internal stakeholders/business units to ensure governance practices are adopted throughout the enterprise.
- Contributes to the development of IT supplier relationship strategies/solutions to ensure business needs are met.
- Creates change management protocols in support of managed initiatives, and oversees implementation, working closely with various internal stakeholders and LFG business partners.
- Provides strategic direction to senior leadership to help develop strategic financial/budget plans in accordance with business strategy/objectives and corporate guidelines.
What we're looking for
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 12+ Years of experience years in actuarial science that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position, including 5+ years of management, strategy, and influencing senior management/critical stakeholders experience (Required)
- Effective at managing multiple and complex issues or projects in a fast-moving environment
- Timely and thorough analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex issues to both internal and external stakeholders

Pay Range: $174,701 - $315,400
