Job Description

VCGT (Vertex Cell and Gene Therapy) is a start-up environment where we are integrating several systems for the first time in the cell and gene therapy space. 

 

This role is responsible for defining and running the system master data operations. The candidate will partner with VCGT’s functional leads to execute Master Data requirements in the application systems, focusing on the Oracle ERP system. This role will also be responsible for the overall system governance of the Master Data processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain VCGT item master in the Oracle ERP System.
• Maintain VCGT formula, recipe in Oracle ERP System.
• Host item request review meetings, collaborate with the business teams to drive consensus and efficiency in the overall item application process.
• Execute change actions for the projects/change controls where there are impacts to master data.
• Partner with VCGT Master Data lead on master data clean-up and improvement projects.
• Manage the data governance SOPs and WIs for VCGT master data management.
• Participate in the solution design & review, implementation, testing, data conversion of projects where there are impacts or integrations to master data.
• Oversee the creation of custom reports for master data.
• As the VCGT Data Steward, manage data at domain/sector spanning business functions, drive process to mature data across domains/sectors, manage business and process rules related to data.

 

Required Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 3+ year of related work experience.
• Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow up and anticipate challenges
• Utilization of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to lead cross-functional teams
• Experience facilitating meetings (virtual or in-person), and steer discussions while influencing and gaining consensus across multiple functions (Manufacturing, Quality and IT).
• Experience working in a validated system and environments.
• Expertise in use of MS Excel, as well as demonstrated proficiencies in Project, Visio, ERP systems and SmartSheets
• Experience working in a cGMP environment
• Work experience with supply chain systems implementation projects (ERP, Scheduling) is an asset.

 

Pay Range

$50-$60/hr
