Financial Reporting and Analysis Senior Accountant

The Financial Reporting and Analysis Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of the organization’s financial reporting. This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and addressing follow up inquiries from leadership on financial results. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lender financial statements and compliance certificates

• Prepare various schedules to be included with investor reporting

• Review and analyze daily cash budgeting/forecasting reports

• Review various internal audit schedules for compliance

• Analyze and review Company’s month end financials at various levels

• Provide financials and supporting schedules for the annual tax returns

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and conduct research on new accounting pronouncements

• Prepare various schedules for external audits

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual journal entries and reconciliations as assigned

• Manage various projects as assigned

• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as assigned by supervisor

• Provide support for banking functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• 3+ years public accounting and 2-4 years industry accounting

• Certified Public Accounting Designation – CPA
