What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop supplier relationships across assigned categories, ensuring risk management and compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Identify and implement improvements in Procurement processes, tools, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and proactive engagement.
- Support complex local sourcing initiatives, including spot buying, and manage contract approvals in collaboration with the Pfizer Legal Department.
- Plan and coordinate inventory management for all materials, ensuring quality requirements are met in collaboration with the quality control team.
- Act as the site coordinator and liaison between client groups, suppliers, sourcing teams, and other stakeholders, resolving service-related issues.
- Monitor and follow the performance of main suppliers in relation to internal customers, ensuring supply channels conform to quality standards.
- Lead local and regional client relationship management with senior stakeholders, developing impactful short- and long-term solutions for customers.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other regulatory requirements, reviewing deviations and identifying corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOP), contributing to moderately complex projects and managing time to meet targets.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience
- An excellent understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, including experience in Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Strong business systems knowledge

- Relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate on projects across different sites and functions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
