Meet Lingo, a new biosensing technology that provides users a window into their body. This Sr. Software Engineer, Mobile position works out of Alameda, CA location.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the solution design, development, and maintenance of complex full-stack web and mobile applications

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using React Native and other technologies, such as Node.js, GraphQL, etc.

  • Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices and coding standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement new features

  • Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks

  • Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions

  • Debug and troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance

  • Ensure the applications are secure, scalable, and accessible

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in web and mobile development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering with deep expertise in mobile app development (iOS and/or Android); Rich Experience in delivering operation excellent, secure, reliable, sustainable, cost efficient, high performance modern JavaScript-based mobile products.

  • Extensive experience with React Native, JavaScript, and ReactJS

  • Expertise in server-side technologies, such as Node.js, GraphQL, etc.

  • Expertise with native build tools, such as XCode, Gradle, etc.

  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Apium, etc.

  • Strong experience with devops,  including Git,Jenkins or other CICD tools.

  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus
