<p><strong>Do you want to orchestrate sustainability implementation in industry based on research results and methods?</strong><br/><br/>
If you want to work at the forefront of the new scientific revolution within Design for Sustainability, this is a job of high relevance for you. <br/><br/>
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious business developer working on the interface between sustainability research and industry implementation to join our team at the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, the Technical University of Denmark. Priority will be given to applicants with experience in sustainability, circular economy, product/service-systems, and value chain collaboration. We seek a candidate to continue our high-level industry collaboration on various research projects. Thus, priority will be given to applicants with extensive experience with project management, business development, research dissemination and stakeholder engagement strategies. <br/><br/>
At the Section of Design for Sustainability, you will contribute to the development of a promising innovative research area within DTU Construct. In addition to joining a top interdisciplinary and multinational team, you will have the opportunity to make an impact, solving some of the most critical challenges the world is facing.<br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities and qualifications</strong><br/>

You will contribute to the finalisation and implementation of an existing research and industry platform regarding circular economy readiness and lead the scaling of the platform for its long-term value for industry and research. You will ensure our high-level research is matched with the right mechanisms for disseminating and collaborating with industry using novel and high-quality channels and formats. <br/><br/>
Furthermore, you will develop and lead the industry-facing activities for DTU Construct’s new research strategy within “Remanufacturing”. In this research area you will lead and coordinate the internal cross-section synergies for out-facing activities with industry. <br/><br/>
Your primary tasks will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement a long-term strategy for circularity readiness research and support to enable continued research and operation of the platform. </li>
<li>Business development of research-based support platform regarding circularity readiness, towards various national and international stakeholders.</li>
<li>Act as Key Account Manager of consultancy agreements and partnerships.</li>
<li>Coordinate and develop sustainability and circular economy training material directed to consultancies and other research partners.</li>
<li>Collaboration with DTU’s innovation partners and DTU’s legal department, regarding the dissemination of sustainability research results to specific industry use-cases.</li>
<li>Coordinate the internal cross-section synergies for outward-facing activities with industry within remanufacturing at DTU Construct.</li>
<li>Lead a high-level dissemination initiative around DTU research within circular economy and remanufacturing.</li>
</ul>
<p>As you will work in a highly interdisciplinary group, you must also bring collaboration, critical thinking, and planning skills, backed by excellent communication skills.<br/><br/>
In addition to being part of the Section of Design for Sustainability, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with DTU’s pan-university Centre for Absolute Sustainability. Your workplace will be DTU’s main campus in Kgs. Lyngby, Copenhagen.<br/><br/>
DTU employs two working languages: Danish and English. You are expected to be fluent in at least one of these languages, and in time are expected to master both.<br/><br/>
As a formal qualification you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent). <br/><br/><strong>You will be assessed against the</strong> responsibilities and qualifications stated above and the following general criteria: </p>
