Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for a Manager to join our Strategic Finance team, where you'll drive top- and bottom-line impact through objective analysis, operational insights, and strategic initiatives. In this role, you'll support our LinkedIn Talent Solutions business, specifically focusing on our LinkedIn Learning product.
You'll partner with various product teams across the learner journey, including onboarding, content discovery, consumption, and retention. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting new initiatives such as our AI-Powered Coaching and Role Play features."
Responsibilities:
Strategic Thinking
- Deliver strategic projects for our leadership that provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of our various businesses and develop a deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities.
- Partner with LinkedIn Learning Product Managers and other cross-functional teams to drive engagement growth for our Learning products by framing how we should be looking at the opportunities, developing hypotheses, and deep diving into analysis to drive fact-based strategies.
Performance Management
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance issues.
- Take ownership of actively managing the performance of key operating metrics, including LinkedIn Learning’s true north metric, through diagnosing operational issues and driving resolution for those issues. You’ll need to be comfortable diving into data and then bubbling up key insights for the executive team.
Execution & Organization
- Independently partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective. • Serves as a resource for stakeholders to answer a wide variety of complex questions.
- Independently drives the development of large work-streams, projects, or operational processes.
Culture & Values
- Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team (including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, Business Development, Corporate Development, and other internal groups, etc.), working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal.
- Works as part of a team that supports the culture and values of the organization, including people development and diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Provides actionable, concrete project-oriented feedback (after a meeting, end-of-project review) to colleagues and/or partners.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 5 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the technology industry.
- 2+ years of experience working cross-functionally with the product team.
- Ability to manage and optimize product performance metrics, leveraging data to drive strategic recommendations across cross-functional stakeholders.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $123,000 to $199,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
