Position Overview:

The Vice President of Software Engineering - Corporate Products & Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) will be a key member of the IT senior leadership team, responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of the company’s corporate product offerings, with a special focus on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of software engineering, AI/ML, product development, and team leadership. The VP will drive the technical vision, ensure the scalability and reliability of products, and lead a talented team of engineers to deliver high-quality, AI-driven software solutions that align with the company’s business goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute the software engineering strategy for corporate products and AI/ML initiatives in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the CTO to define the technology and AI/ML roadmap, prioritizing product development and AI integration initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI/ML to ensure the company’s products remain competitive and innovative.
• AI/ML Integration:
  • Oversee the integration of AI and ML technologies into corporate products, ensuring that these innovations enhance product functionality, user experience, and business value.
  • Lead the development of proprietary AI/ML models and algorithms tailored to the company’s specific needs and market.
  • Ensure that AI/ML solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
• Product Development:
  • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure that all corporate products, including AI-driven solutions, meet high standards of quality, performance, and security.
  • Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to enhance development efficiency.
• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers and AI/ML specialists, ensuring they have the resources, skills, and motivation to succeed.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering teams.
  • Promote professional development opportunities and career growth for team members.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with Product Management to ensure alignment on product vision, customer needs, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Communicate technical concepts, and project statuses, effectively to non-technical stakeholders, including executives and clients.
  • Act as a key technical advisor and advocate for engineering excellence within the organization.

  • Optimize software development and AI/ML processes, tools, and workflows to improve productivity and ensure timely delivery of products.
