THE JOB:
As an Assistant Executive Steward, you’ll lead a team of utility stewards and dishwashers, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and top-tier cleanliness. This role involves training and supervising utility stewards and dishwashers to ensure the efficient cleaning and transport of kitchen utensils. Your role goes beyond supervision—you’ll create a welcoming environment, making a lasting impact on both guests and employees.
 

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead any pre-shift meeting and ensuring teams have documentation related for upcoming shifts.
• Oversee daily stewarding operations, aligning with company goals and budgets.
• Train, coach, and manage staff while fostering a positive team culture.
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards through routine inspections.
• Manage supply inventory, equipment requisitions, and cost-effective purchasing.
• Support banquet and catering operations, ensuring seamless event execution.
• Contribute ideas for new products, services, and process improvements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least two (2) years experience in Stewarding, Dishwashing, Food & Beverage Operations, or related fields such as custodial or janitorial services.
• Understanding of Catering & Banquet operations, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen steward functions, materials, and equipment used in kitchen operations.
• Previous experience in a similar resort environment.
