Product Analyst Intern - Spring 2026

HCSS, a 16-time “Best Company to Work For in Texas” software company in Sugar Land is searching for a Product Analyst Intern to join our Product Team! This is a PAID internship where you will gain in-depth skills in our tech stack that will take you further to success. You will make an impact by contributing to our product teams to deliver high-quality software applications to our customers.

• You’re currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and able to commute to our office during your internship.

• You’re detail-oriented, a problem solver, and a logical thinker.

What will you be doing?

• Work with our Product Management and Business Analysts teams to create and improve product strategies and understand the needs of our customers
  • Utilize customer usage, marketing, and sales data to identify opportunities for improvement in our software features and campaigns.
  • Conduct customer interviews and document results
• Collaborate with stakeholders and organize and monitor requests from multiple departments(Customers, Development, Sales, Support, etc.) 
  • Work with Business Analysts to understand these requests
  • Work with Product Managers to prioritize requests.
• Work with our Product Management and Business Analysts teams to improve our product roadmaps
  • Research and document product insights and acceptance criteria for new features
  • Conduct Experiments and monitor results so that you can make recommendations for improvements

Bonus Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
• Experience or coursework related to B2B software, SaaS platforms, or product development.
• Exposure to or interest in Agile product management practices.
• Knowledge of construction workflows, estimating processes, or field operations—especially helpful for shaping onboarding and feature design.

Here’s what to expect:

• This internship is semester-based and we’ll work around your school schedule. During the Spring semesters, you can work up to 25 hours a week.
• Training and mentoring will be provided and you’ll receive feedback on your performance regularly. You’ll have numerous opportunities to continuously grow your knowledge base.
