Part-Time Administrative Assistant Opportunity

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a part-time opening for the position of Administrative Assistant at the Wakulla Environmental Institute. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community. 

What You’ll Do
As an Administrative Assistant, the day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Manage Front Desk Duties such as answering phones, greeting guests, managing customer inquiries, document management and other general front office tasks

• Assist staff in data collection, data tracking and analysis on program enrollment and experience

• Event and Calendar Management

• Assist staff in management of program inquiries and leads generation to increase course enrollments

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent from a regionally accredited institution.

• Minimum of one year experience in an administrative assistant or customer service capacity.  Must have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Looking for an enthusiastic customer-oriented person who is a self-starter and has a passion for being a team player.
