About the role

The Lead Business Systems Analyst will report to the Senior Manager - Business Systems Analyst of Output Processing, supporting the production and delivery of client documents. The Lead Business Systems Analyst will support business decision-making by providing analysis that leads to solutions for business issues, making recommendations for action as appropriate. Support initiatives from conception through implementation and monitoring. They will be a liaison between business leaders, staff, utility functions, and external parties to promote clear communication and collaboration in support of business objectives. This individual will ensure strong regulatory and business controls are designed and maintained. The Lead Business Systems Analyst will drive continuous improvement, collaborating with internal and external business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business partners and vendor concerning on quality and compliance controls

  • Oversee and support vendor, regulatory and internal risk audits in the department

  • Lead and/or represent the department through initiatives ranging from enterprise-wide projects to smaller, on-team process improvements

  • Perform Written Supervisory Procedures as a delegate of the area's Registered Principal

  • Support the department's metrics and health-of-business reporting

  • Champion change through end-to-end participation in projects and smaller process or document enhancements

  • Research and resolve escalations from clients and advisors

  • Other support of the team as directed by leader

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to manage multiple deliverables without a high level of workday structure.

  • Strong communication skills  

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills; ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment 

  • Ability to balance multiple projects with attention to detail wand meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading meetings, testing, and coordinating vendor relationships

  • Financial services experience

  • Series 99, 7, 24 or SIE license or willingness to obtain is preferred
