Job Description
Job Activities (at the ESA Level):
Facilitate and work on the development and implementation of the ESA Supplier Onboarding process. This includes working collaboratively with Supplier Quality, IT, Suppliers, Supply Chain and other functions while facilitating meetings, action item creation/closeout to ensure a well-documented and controlled process for the onboarding of new suppliers to ESA.
Facilitate and work on the development and implementation of the ESA Supplier Website. This includes working collaboratively with Supplier Quality, IT, Legal, Supply Chain and other functions while facilitating meetings, action item creation/closeout to ensure a professional and effective site for suppliers to obtain information on how to interact with ESA, what ESA expectations are of suppliers and provide resources.
Assist in the ongoing effort to harmonize ESA/ESL suppliers to provide a better ability to collaborate regarding spend strategies and category management practices. This includes better reporting of ESA data, standardized processes and ongoing reviews between ESA and ESL procurement organizations.
Duties:
- Create and support a variety of initiatives and projects to align with strategic Supply Chain initiatives
- Improve and streamline processes while implementing new services and integrating new data sources
- Ensure the projects are to be executed on schedule and serve as change agent for communications plan and training
- Coordinate with ESA team to develop requirements of implementation of new Supplier Onboarding support system
- Collaborate with global team to support Supplier Master Data projects with parent company, including but not limited to, Supplier Harmonization, supplier spend analysis, and cost saving opportunities
- Document internal processes and work instructions that come with process improvements
- Facilitate and develop the implementation of the ESA Supplier website with cross functional team
- Participate in formulation of key metrics and forecasts
- Collect, analyze and present supply chain metrics to upper management
Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or equivalent related is required. MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
- Green Belt or Yellow Belt certification with training or project completion preferred.
- Requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Commodity Management experience desired
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills.
- Knowledge of fixed pricing agreements and vendor managed inventory.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
