Your team
This role is part of our Finance Systems and Change team -- we're responsible for optimising our finance technology landscape, maintaining business-as-usual operations of systems across all finance divisions, and driving digitization initiatives across our global finance function. We deliver system enhancements, implement new solutions, and ensure our finance systems support both operational excellence and strategic business objectives.
Your role in the Team's Success
This role serves as the primary technical expert for our treasury and reconciliation systems portfolio, including AutoRek (financial reconciliation and data management), FIS Integrity (Treasury Management System), and iRecs (broker reconciliation platform). You'll be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and implementing enhancements across these critical systems that streamline reconciliation of the group's client and corporate money and assets, manage liquidity, and support payment operations. Your technical expertise ensures these systems remain reliable, efficient, and aligned with business needs while enabling Treasury and Cash Operations teams to deliver accurate, timely reconciliation and liquidity management.
What you'll do
- Administer and configure AutoRek, FIS Integrity, and iRecs platforms including user access, security controls, metadata, business rules, and reconciliation logic
- Execute technical implementations, configure system modules, and perform customizations using SQL within vendor-supported parameters
- Maintain integration points between treasury/reconciliation platforms and other finance systems, ensuring data integrity and managing payment system interfaces
- Provide third-line technical support, coordinate with vendor teams, and support critical period-end processing including on-call rotation
- Lead technical workstreams for system projects, upgrades, and enhancements while delivering training and knowledge transfer
- Optimize system performance, develop automation scripts, and implement improvements to reduce manual intervention
- Create and maintain technical documentation including system configurations, integration specifications, disaster recovery procedures, and knowledge base articles
What you'll need for this role
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years hands-on experience with reconciliation or treasury management systems in production environments
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, system development, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes, treasury operations, and system integration patterns
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
- Proven ability to configure and optimize financial systems with strong technical problem-solving skills
- Experience with on-premise system administration and vendor support coordination
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and collaborative cross-functional approach
- Flexibility to provide support outside standard hours when business-critical situations require immediate attention
Highly Desirable:
- Hands-on experience with AutoRek, FIS Integrity TMS, or iRecs platforms
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or trading environments with understanding of cash/liquidity management
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation and database administration experience
- ITIL certification or service management experience with ITSM tools (SNOW, JIRA)
- Accounting qualification or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
