Service Center Coordinator

As Service Center Coordinator at Husqvarna Construction in Branford, CT, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Service Center Manager by actively managing inventory and coordinating the administration of equipment repairs for both internal teams and external customers. Your contributions will directly impact our competitive edge by delivering top-notch customer service and ensuring the seamless and efficient handling of repair processes, driving satisfaction and operational excellence.
On any given day in this role you may:
- Handle shipping & receiving with FedEx/UPS/Freight
- Perform cycle counting, stock inventory, pull/pack/ship orders
- Assist with the physical unloading and moving of equipment to and from customer
- Assist with documentation for receipt of equipment in the Service Center
- Operate forklift to load and unload carriers
- Organize and clean warehouse as needed
- Determine inventory needs and process replenishment orders
- Enter and process ROs for inventory replenishment
- Process adjustments to correct inventory and other transactions
- Handle in-person inquiries from customers as needed
- Assist with regular maintenance of the Service Center to provide a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
- Create and complete sales order/invoicing process as needed
- Answer and respond to customer and sales phone calls regarding repair status and service of equipment
- Handle credit card processing for customers
- Write sales orders for repairs
- Provide customer service support by phone
- Process quotes for repairs, provide quote to customer, and follow up on approvals
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School degree or equivalent required
- At least 1 year’s previous experience working within a customer service role
- Previous experience with inventory/inventory processes, cycle counting, general warehouse management
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (AS400, PRMS, JDE preferred), Excel and Word
- Basic product knowledge
- Solid knowledge of repair process procedures
- Forklift certification
- Ability to occasionally lift 75 lbs plus
