Responsibilities

Serves as a role model of excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice for the system.  Major roles of the Clinical   Specialist include those of practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, and Clinical Guideline Manager.  Provides system oversight of clinical practice for specific patient population(s).

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Nursing from an Accredited College or University.

Minimum three (3) years of experience in clinical area.

Effective analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to educate others and serve as a positive change agent.
