We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to partner with our Go-to-Market (GTM) team to drive financial planning, analysis, and decision support. This person will offer leadership, expertise, and collaboration in their partnership with cross-functional teams to provide strategic financial insights, drive financial performance, and support business growth initiatives in the sophisticated GTM landscape. This person will be a strategic thought partner with high financial skills and a strong partnership with our teams. We are excited to build out our Finance team!
What You'll Do:
- Partner with our GTM leaders to develop financial strategies from insights and analysis to drive revenue growth, optimize investments, and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to develop and supervise financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and case development to evaluate GTM initiatives and investments.
- Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve performance and drive business results.
- Drive financial performance reporting and metric tracking for GTM functions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial metrics and performance indicators.
- Support quota setting, deal analysis, and profitability assessments for new products.
- Participate in and lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing financial expertise and partnering with team members to drive successful outcomes.
- Contribute as a leader and subject matter expert in collaboration with the greater Finance team to continuously improve financial processes, systems, and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Act as subject matter expert on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights for GTM strategies and decision-making.
- Mentor and train members of the Finance team in support of career growth and development.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in finance, business partnering, or related roles, preferably in a technology or SaaS company.
- Proven experience partnering with GTM teams, such as Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success, to provide financial guidance and support.
- Expert financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting skills, with a solid understanding of financial metrics and key drivers of business performance.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and ability to effectively convey advanced financial information to non-financial team members.
- Strong business insight and the ability to understand the broader strategic goals and objectives of the organization.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
