SOLUTE, Inc., a Sigma Defense Systems Company, is seeking a Senior Navy Veteran with extensive shipboard operational experience managing ships' routine at a senior level to fill the Senior CNSP Surface Force Training Strategist and Policy Analyst position as part of the CNSP N7 Training Support Team. This role provides a great opportunity to use your experience to help shape Fleet training requirements, assist in training process improvements, and impact the warfighting efficiency of ships' crews. Requirements
- Must have 20 years of Surface Navy experience.
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree (minimum).
- Must possess a DoD Secret security clearance, or higher.
- Must have shipboard operational experience managing ships routine at a senior level. For example, Commanding Officer, Task Group/Squadron Commander, Deputy Warfare Commander, CSG/ESG Warfare Commander Senior Staff Experience in the following:
- Conducting workshops, control meetings that identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities Navy information systems, programs and processes
- Producing operational efficiencies and or process improvements
- Developing and submitting POM investments
- Identifying and tracking, cataloging and prioritizing shipboard training system problems, shortfalls and issues -
- Participating in the certification of combat system baselines
- Configuration management and control as it relates to training processes
- Conducting comparative analysis of PACFLT Surface Navy units executing the Fleet Readiness Training Plan (FRTP) Writing and presenting Flag Level briefs
- Member of a Navy major staff at the senior officer level - Be familiar with Surface Force Training, Surface Warfare Enterprise, Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs), and/or other military requirements management systems
- Be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of:
- The Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM) - Shipboard Mission Area Certification Processes -
- The Fleet Training Requirements Management Process
- The POM processes, supporting Surface Warfare Training Strategy, Fleet Training Wholeness Strategy and governance
- The USFF Live Virtual Constructive Initiatives
- Shipboard synthetic training system capabilities as they relate to the support of the tactical training continuum
- The Ready Relevant Learning Initiative and associated processes
- Naval “Unit-Level Training” at a senior military or Department of Defense civilian level
Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000 annually.
