Senior Software Engineer – Chantilly, VA

Full Visibility is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work in Chantilly, VA OR Huntsville, AL. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance.

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of the application development projects in support of IT infrastructure, including the programmatic integration of third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks. The candidate will develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. The Senior Software Engineer will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will perform technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.

The Senior Software Engineer will possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments, plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success, function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments, and may supervise others.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

Active Top Secret Clearance
At least eight (8+) years of experience - certifications or past work may be used
Experience using Node.js, Angular JS, HTML, CSS, Java Script, Bootstrap, d3, AJAX, Visual Studio, RubyGems, Python, and Redhat Linux
Experience supporting users in bulk data processing with machine translation, speech to text and OCR tools to include parsing and normalizing data
Experience in installation, configuration, and optimization of Machine Translation software: Systran, Language Weaver, Microsoft Translator; and OCR software: Tesseract and AWS Textract
Experience in working with artificial learning and machine learning (AI/ML) Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) technologies such as Nvidia
Extensive knowledge in the administration of servers with embedded GPUs running on RedHat Linux operating system
