Job Summary

Caring out various engineering tasks, such as performing calculation to ensure the system meet the safety standards and collaborating with technicians to solve emerging issues. Ensure regulatory /corporate electrical safety standard compliance .

Responsibilities

1. Having reach experience of Preventive maintenance, Predictive maintenance & breakdown maintenance about electrical major equipment such as transformer, UPS, PCC, DG, ACB, VCB, UPS & VFD
2. Improve Electrical equipment reliability.
3. knowledge about electrical safety system
4. Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures, requesting repair service.
5. Maintaining the Electrical Inventory according to the requirement & maintain critical spare.
6. Effectively controlling the down time of the electrical System
7. Maintain GEP & Safety rules in dept.
8. Maintaining, updating the Departmental IMS, Regulatory document and the records
9. Planning after Day-To-day Routine maintenance jobs
10. Trouble shooting of electrical breakdown
11. Electrical project work such as panel installation, UPS , VFD installation
12. Having Knowledge of S4 SAP
13. Effective manpower handling
14. Use electrical devices and instruments for above mentioned activities and test such as Switchgear, MCC, insulation tester, power supply, oscilloscope, frequency meter, multimeter, clamp ammeter
15. Electrical design of power distribution, control, communication, lighting, fire alarm and security systems.
16. Technical calculations and use for lighting analyses, load calculations, arc flash, fault & coordination studies, power system design
17. General knowledge in the power system protection domain
18. Good knowledge of technical English
