Position Overview

 

The Asphalt Quality Control Lab Supervisor will serve in a supervisory role in the various testing and sampling of construction materials involving aggregates, and hot mix asphalt.  The Quality Control Supervisor will also maintain the Testing Technician Training Program (TTTP) records, major equipment inventory, and equipment calibration/verification schedule.

 

Supervision

 

            Work is performed under the supervision of the Assistant QC Manager and Quality Control Manager.

 

Duties

 

            Duties of Asphalt Quality Control Supervisor will include:

 

· Inventory of equipment.

· Maintenance of calibration schedule.

· Maintaining and distribution of test results.

· Maintenance of TTTP.

· Receiving, logging, and maintenance of samples.

· Testing of construction materials.

· Reviewing and reporting of test results.

 · Equipment maintenance and calibration.

 

 

           

Minimum Qualifications

 

            Certifications:

                                    WAQTC Certifications

                                    Nuclear Density Gage

                                   

 

Education:       Basic math and reading comprehension

                                    Computer literate in word processing and spreadsheet applications.

 

            Experience:     Three years of construction material testing and design.
