Software Tester

We are looking for a Junior Software Tester to join our Team in Milan.

Skills required

• Passion. You enjoy working in the Quality Assurance world, have passion for testing activities;
• A real interest in bug finding activities. You have ability to draft test cases starting from functional analysis documents and perform both automated and manual testing;
• Accuracy. You are a precise person who can organize independently, but with an eye for teamwork.
• Analytical mind. You are precise and pay close attention to detail;
• Willingness to learn and challenge yourself. You are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone and are willing to expand your knowledge;
• Proficient in English. You read and write competently and speak at a conversational level;
• Curiosity and interest in computer science;
• Brief experience with tools for writing and running automated tests (es: Katalon, Test Sigma, Testim ecc.)

Additional skills

• Knowledge of the basics of programming in an object-oriented language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, TypeScript);
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Redmine;
• Foundation Level ISTQB certificate;
• Knowledge of AGILE framework;
• Brief experience with tools for writing and running automated tests (es: Katalon, Test Sigma, Testim ecc.)

What You Will Do

• You will be placed in the Quality Assurance team that is responsible for drafting checklists, internal testing and UATs for Web and Mobile Applications, including conversational interfaces (Chatbots);
• You will liaise with analysts, developers, and project managers to identify system requirements and collaborate on resolving any issues resulting from testing;
• You will interface directly with customers primarily through ticketing systems, but also via email or phone.
