The Senior Manager, Business Analyst drives delivery of technology products and services primarily focusing on Clinical Trial Planning and Execution domain. The role is embedded in the Trial Operations product line in Global Development Operations BI&T and will also contribute to the operational activities across the broader product line. This is a hands-on role where the successful candidate will work closely with the Product Manager and would collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leads, software developers, project managers, IT teams, and vendors, to ensure successful delivery and adoption of technical projects and solutions.​

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the Business Analyst on assigned initiatives in Trial Operations product line within Global Development Operations IT organization.

  • Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to solve business problems using AI first solution approaches.

  • Coordinate and facilitate ongoing prioritization and backlog management.

  • Create IT documentation artifacts in support of an agile technology implementations, including but not limited to requirements/ stories, process diagrams, user acceptance test plans, traceability matrices, wireframes, training documents, and change management artifacts.

  • Configure, test, and validate applications with engineering team.

  • Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing, validate requirements, and manage traceability matrices.

  • Participate in retrospectives, collect user feedback, and propose improvements to business capabilities.

  • Develop effective business relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and adoption of technology initiatives.

  • Prototype technology solutions using tools such as vibe coding tools, Python, and/or Figma.

  • Write SQL scripts to analyze data, identify gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.

  • Generate relevant reports and visualizations.

  • Develop and share snapshot of team accomplishments and value drops across department and with stakeholders.

  • Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum education of a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, life sciences, or related discipline is required.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a technical business analyst, preferably in pharmaceutical, clinical research, or healthcare settings.

  • Proficient in clear and concise requirements documentation, process modeling, and drafting user acceptance criteria.

  • Experience using business analysis tools (Figma, JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, or comparable platforms).

  • Effective communicator with ability to drive conversations with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience using Veeva technology, vibe coding tools, LLMs, Python, SQL or similar tools for scripting, automation, and analytics is a plus.

  • Product management/agile experience is a plus. 

  • Experience working with on-shore/off-shore model is a plus.
