Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
This job posting is for 2nd shift, initially working a schedule of Monday through Friday and some Saturdays, and then a rotational schedule of 4 days on, 3 days off one week, and 3 days on, 4 days off the following week when the plant moves to a 7-day operation. Work hours are generally 1:40 p.m. to approximately 11:00 p.m./midnight. The base rate of pay is $21.90/hour, plus a shift premium of $1.00/hour. Team members must be willing to work overtime and weekends, as needed. This position is eligible for overtime pay.

Job Responsibilities:
Operates PIT/forklift in a safe and efficient manner
Ensures the correct spices are available at the appropriate time to the Blender Control Operator
Ensures all loads being received are individually weighed prior to making stickers
Inspects for damaged bags/pallets prior to checking in each pallet to the cooler
Ensures the product being offloaded is received in using the correct SAP number and is entered into Safety Chain
Ensures all pallets issued out are done on a “first in, first out (FIFO)” basis, have a sticker, and are scanned out to the appropriate process order
Stays in constant communication with the Blender Control Operator to avoid any confusion with the product that is being formulated
All team members are responsible for safety, including but not limited to personal safety and food safety
Complies with all company and USDA policies/guidelines and reports known or suspected violations
