Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

This job posting is for 2nd shift, initially working a schedule of Monday through Friday and some Saturdays, and then a rotational schedule of 4 days on, 3 days off one week, and 3 days on, 4 days off the following week when the plant moves to a 7-day operation.  Work hours are generally 1:40 p.m. to approximately 11:00 p.m./midnight.  The base rate of pay is $21.90/hour, plus a shift premium of $1.00/hour. Team members must be willing to work overtime and weekends, as needed.  This position is eligible for overtime pay.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Operates PIT/forklift in a safe and efficient manner 

• Ensures the correct spices are available at the appropriate time to the Blender Control Operator 

• Ensures all loads being received are individually weighed prior to making stickers 

• Inspects for damaged bags/pallets prior to checking in each pallet to the cooler 

• Ensures the product being offloaded is received in using the correct SAP number and is entered into Safety Chain 

• Ensures all pallets issued out are done on a “first in, first out (FIFO)” basis, have a sticker, and are scanned out to the appropriate process order 

• Stays in constant communication with the Blender Control Operator to avoid any confusion with the product that is being formulated 

• All team members are responsible for safety, including but not limited to personal safety and food safety 

• Complies with all company and USDA policies/guidelines and reports known or suspected violations
