Qualities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse groups — from residents to investors and corporate executives.
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience managing affordable housing programs (Tax Credits, HUD, Section 42, Project-Based Section 8).
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of management experience (Required)
- 4+ years in affordable housing (Tax Credits, Section 42, HUD, or Project-Based Section 8) (Required)
- Experience with NSPIRE and/or certifications in HUD or Tax Credit compliance
- Experience managing a portfolio of at least 500 units (Required; 800+ preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
- Valid Driver’s License (unrestricted) required
Working Conditions:
- This role requires up to 60% travel throughout the Bay Area region, specifically between Sacramento, Salinas, and the Fresno area.
- The position is flexible on where you are based, but you will work out of one of our Bay Area properties as your home office location.
