CT/MRI Coordinator- OI Rockwall

POSITION SUMMARY
The CT/MRI Coordinator is responsible for patient care and all related duties required to
provide high quality imaging studies. The patient population served is aged neonatal to
geriatrics. In accordance with hospital and departmental policies, this position is responsible
for insuring that all imaging patients receive safe, optimal care. He/She assures that all work
performed in the imaging area is in compliance with state and federal regulations.   POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: Graduate of an Accredited Program and registered by the ARRT
Minimum Work Experience: Radiological experience as a staff CT and MRI technologist
Required Licenses/Certifications: Must possess Texas State Licensure and meet all FDA and State of Texas requirements. Must have current basic CPR certification. Must have and keep
continuing education credits up-to-date as required by ARRT and the State of Texas
for registry and licensure. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Must have good working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and understand the principles of physics. Must possess the knowledge to obtain diagnostic quality images and setup and operate equipment safely. Must possess good communication skills, technical acuity and be able to work without direct supervision.
Preferred Qualification: Advanced registries in CT and MRI are preferred with 2 years experience in each.
