Finance Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to join our team at the Miami plant reporting directly to the Controller for North America. This role will play a critical part in strengthening the internal controls environment, ensuring compliance with our Group Accounting Manual, and driving efficiencies within the finance function. The Finance Manager will have significant exposure to inventory management, variances, standard costing, and will lead special projects to enhance operational and financial processes.
Essential Duties
Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.
- Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust internal controls framework in alignment with Kingspan’s Group Accounting Manual.
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and financial reporting standards.
- Inventory Management & Costing:
- Oversee inventory processes, ensuring accurate recording and valuation of stock.
- Analyze production variances, investigate discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.
- Manage and refine standard cost models to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct detailed variance analyses and provide meaningful recommendations to management.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to the Group.
- Special Projects & Efficiency Initiatives:
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at driving process improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Collaborate with plant operations teams to identify and implement best practices.
- Evaluate and propose enhancements to financial systems and tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, inventory management, and standard costing.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.

- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
