Job Summary

In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, the Department of Technology maintains a pool of qualified persons interested in part-time non-tenure-track teaching positions. Applications are accepted continuously for part-time, non-tenure-track positions and reviewed as vacancies become available. There may not be an actual vacancy at the time you apply.

Primary areas in need of coverage include:
Computers Systems Technology (e.g., introduction to programming, digital electronics, etc.)
Construction Management (e.g., soils & foundations, residential development, etc.)
Engineering Technology (e.g., constraint-based solid modeling, power technology, etc.)
Graphic Communications Technology (e.g., digital media technology, graphic communications business practices, etc.)
Sustainable & Renewable Energy (e.g., energy management, renewable energy capstone, etc.)
Technology & Engineering Education (e.g., student teacher supervision, engineering design, etc.)
Graduate Courses (e.g., project management, quality management and analytics, etc.)

Non Tenure Track faculty are expected to meet with classes regularly for the entire time scheduled (~4 hours per week) and be available to students outside of class for consultation by either maintaining regular posted office hours or by phone or other electronic medium (e.g. Zoom) etc. Consistent with ISU policy, there is no minimum requirement for office hours, however reasonable accessibility must be provided to students.
