Assembly is looking for an Associate Director, Paid Social.  The Associate Director, Paid Social role is a management position accountable for all aspects of their assigned client’s Paid Social campaigns. This role requires strength in Social Media planning, execution, and management. The ability to multi-task while under tight deadlines with team members from various disciplines is also required.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversight on all aspects of client’s paid social campaigns   
  • Provide direction and best practices on campaign structure 
  • Having a clear and technical knowledge of vendor’s strengths and weaknesses 
  • Working closely with junior team members to execute and QA campaigns 
  • Presenting complex concepts and metrics in a user-friendly way 
  • Responsible for overall media objectives and strategies that fulfill client business goals 
  • Lead creation and delivery of all important plans and presentations 
  • Demonstrating thought leadership and innovation for enhanced media plans and results 
  • Communicating/Troubleshooting changes to the field and technical teams relating to our tracking methodology 
  • Looking at our products and associated available metrics - and advising how to use/integrate them with overall platform  

Requirements

  • Experience in managing paid social media campaigns with a focus on metrics, KPIs, and targeting, including insights from platforms like Facebook and Pinterest.
  • Proficiency in using the ads manager platform across various social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and TikTok to successfully launch and manage campaigns.
  • 4-6 years of experience in the media industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and previous experience in managing a team of two or more.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Diverse account background, including experience in direct response and awareness, with a preference for retail experience.
  • 5+ years of combined experience in online web/media analytics and reporting.
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience in the digital or online advertising industry.
  • Minimum 2+ years of people management experience required.
  • Ability to work with the MS Office product suite, with exceptional skills in PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Access is a plus.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience with billing software/platforms, and familiarity with Media Ocean is a plus.
  • GA4 certification is highly preferred.
