The Work You Will Do:
Senior Clerk/District Seven/Director of Transportation/ District Maintenance.
This position will perform administrative support duties and responsibilities, assists the Fleet Manager, assist with annual inventory, point of contact for Memorial Markers, prepares travel, assist with tracking and reporting operational budget, answer calls and ensures that all messages are taken with completeness and routed to the appropriate staff, phone coverage.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Prepares and processes fiscal paperwork for purchases made by Electronic Procurement Requisitions, Local Purchase Orders and Purchasing Card charges in Works according to current directives and procedures. Uses Purchasing Card and SharePoint for purchases. Verifies for available funding within the unit’s operating budget as requests are made. Processes invoices/warrants in accordance with provisions and requirements of Section 215.422. F.S. Assists with tracking and reporting operating budget expenditures and encumbrances. Consults with supervisors to keep them informed of fiscal and purchasing matters.
Performs administrative support duties and responsibilities assisting the staff. Creates memorandums, letters, spreadsheets, reports, presentations, and schedules consistent with approved formats as needed by staff and the Department. Scans and uploads documents into Department systems. Maintains and updates SharePoint site as needed.
