 We are looking for a Sales Development Manager. Experience in engineering companies is essential, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

The position is in Madrid (Spain)

Your role
As a Sales Development Manager with Capgemini Engineering, you will be fundamental to our ability to sell innovative, high value solutions that meet our client’s business needs. Our customer expectations are high, and as such we are looking for adaptive driven people to add value at senior levels in the target organizations, credible with a strong business and market knowledge, and an ability to identify and lead the way forward.


You will be a strong and confident team player, with extensive experience of selling
services. You will have an excellent understanding of the business of Service Providers, and a demonstrable track record in creating opportunities and winning new business in Spain.
 

You are a self-motivated, driven, methodical and enthusiastic individual - your sales experience will include either management of a specific Account, or in finding and winning Strategic Deals, with clear understanding of the sales process associated with complex solution-based sales. In either case you will have demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed demanding targets.


You will possess creative problem-solving skills in a team environment and comfortable with communicating clearly and efficiently throughout varying levels of both the customer and Capgemini Engineering businesses. Due to the nature of the assignments undertaken by Capgemini Engineering you will work in an environment that promotes autonomy and initiative, requiring a flexible attitude. Above all, you will have a desire to progress.

Your profile
Qualifications And Technical Skills

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant technology related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in engineering companies is essential, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Fluent in Spanish (Native) and English (C1)
  • Experience in sales, with a clear understanding of Energy sector trends and challenges.
  • A clear appreciation of software.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and team working skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into potential solutions, leading the internal and external sales process from start to finish.
  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations, to define an end-to-end strategy from need identification to successful completion of the sale.
  • Ability to estimate the financial impact of an opportunity, both with the client and internally.
  • Ability to deal with contract negotiations with the client.
  • Ability to travel nationally on a regular basis and on occasion internationally.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Owning, developing and driving the account’s strategic plan showing commitment to growth, profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Growing a pipeline of opportunities for Capgemini services within the account and driving new opportunities to closure, ensuring revenue targets are met.
  • Influencing and networking with current and prospective clients to build relationships at senior levels, and to identify business needs to address.
  • Working as part of global account team, supporting group initiatives and strategic plans.
  • Identifying new ways to engage with the client, through local promotions, exhibitions, workshops.
