Senior Full Stack Java Developer

As a Senior Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. • Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases 
• Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and/or new products 
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
• Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
• Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications 
• Complete documentation and procedures for installation and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
• Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
• Engage in the process of developing technical documentation efforts and creation of user stories
• Development and unit testing of code components per the user story
• Liaise with global and client teams for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks
• Conduct code audits and reviews
• Attend sprint planning, retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups and report technical blockers to the team
• Independently manage assigned tasks

• Passionate coders with 7+ years of application development experience
• Minimum 4 years of programming experience with Java/J2EE  
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Struts or Spring Frameworks 
• Minimum 2 year of experience with front-end modern UI frameworks such a React or Angular
• Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience working with Hibernate, Docker and Maven 
• Minimum 5 years of experience working within the Banking domain
• Experience in digital Payments and Open Payments Framework 
• Knowledge with payment systems and money transfers
• Experience with Automated Clearinghouse payments (ACH) would be considered an asset
• Knowledge on Federal Reserve Fedwire ISO 20022 would be considered an asset
• Client facing and/or consulting experience is a must
• Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Strong technical acumen/self-starter/SRE mindset and ability to tackle ambiguities to produce positive results 
• Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design. 

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974 to $149,880 .
