Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly talented HR Generalist to support a variety of HR administration and basic HR activities for the AECOM Construction Management Team. This position will be based in New York City, NY.
This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules including at least 3 days in-office presence expected.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Perform administration and HR support activities, such as:
On-going systems support for Human Capital Management System (HCM), Workday
Performance & Rewards
Compensation & Career Level
Compiling system reporting
Onboarding
Engagement activities (such as Great Place to Work Partnership, ED&I Champion network)
Employee Communications
Employee Center (manager and employee self-service) education and tips
Leave of absence outreach and follow-up
Other HR administration and operations duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Human Resources or similar field, plus at least 4 years of experience supporting HR Operations, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office, specifically, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
Experience using Workday or similar platform as a human capital management solution.
Experience working in a highly matrixed global and/or Fortune 500 organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a construction management or professional services environment.
Seen as a “Team Player” with a consultative style and ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy in interactions with all levels of the organization.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to maintain perspective, balance and focus through challenge, uncertainty and change.
Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Additional Information
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization, now or in the future.
Relocation expenses are not available for this position.
Offered rate of compensation (NY locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $76,330 - $141,209.
