SUMMARY:

Position is responsible to maintain a clean and orderly manufacturing environment. This role is tasked with various maintenance responsibilities for equipment and facilities.

 

What you’ll be doing:

• Duties listed, as well as others may be assigned.
• Removal and baling of cardboard.
• Collection of recycling material throughout facility.
• Snow removal and sidewalk salting in winter.
• Maintains building, performing minor and routine projects as required.
• Maintains cleanliness of interior/exterior of building as needed.
• Notifies management concerning need for major and minor repair to the facility.
• Maintain an organized work area and request reorder of material as needed.
• Performs basic Preventive Maintenance on machines and equipment
• Must be able to operate fork lifts and platform lifts where needed or required.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 24’ when required.

A few things you’ll need:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Candidate must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
