How old is the project? What stage is it at?

The product is already 4 years on the market and in the active development stage. 

Our current priority is establishing and maintaining strong customer trust, which has driven the development of our delivery processes that allow us to launch new features daily. Given the highly specialized nature of the cannabis retail market, we are committed to rapidly meeting the evolving needs of our customers. Furthermore, the market's unique legal framework presents challenges with significant variations in state-level taxes, delivery regulations, and other factors.

Tech Stack: TypeScript, React, Redux, Redux effects promise (similar to redux-thunk, custom-built solution), Webpack, SCSS, React Class Components, chart.js, Git Submodules, CI/CD, Karma, Playwright, OOP.

We’re seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our platform team. This role offers the opportunity to leverage technical expertise, enhance our tech stack, and drive improvements in frontend development practices. You’ll play a key role in shaping our frontend architecture and optimizing our workflows for long-term impact.

Who are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience in Frontend Development

• Expertise in designing and implementing micro-frontend architecture

• Strong experience in refactoring tech stacks with a focus on stability

• Proficiency in writing and configuring end-to-end (E2E) and unit tests

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (experience with GitLab CI will be a plus)

• An engineering mindset with a problem-solving approach

• Experience working on platform teams will be a plus

• Migrating a key product to a micro-frontend architecture, addressing the specifics of the current tech stack

• Collaborating on the rollout of a shared design system across all company products

• Enhancing development practices in a continuous delivery environment, with a strong focus on maintaining stability during refactoring

• Working with frontend CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability

Team size and structure? 

We have structured our team around particular products. Typically, each team consists of 10-12 people, including front-end and back-end engineers, QA specialists, and analysts. A separate product owner is responsible for each team. Currently, we have a team of around 150 people.

What is the work schedule? - Flexible working hours. Our working time zone is 09.00-15.00 (GMT),
