Are you an experienced security professional looking for a steady position in a campus setting? We’re seeking dependable and alert individuals to join our team as Campus Security Officers at a private school in Thornwood, NY. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team while helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Position Details:

There are two available schedules at this time: 

Schedule 1:

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00AM

Schedule 1:

Wednesday from 2:00PM to 12:00AM & Thursday from 12:00PM to 12:00AM

Pay: $18.25 per hour

Location: Thornwood, NY

⚠️ This is not an entry-level position. At least 6 months of prior security experience is required.

What You’ll Do:

Patrol campus grounds and buildings to ensure a secure environment

Monitor and control access points

Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies

Complete detailed reports on daily activities and any unusual occurrences

Provide assistance to students, staff, and visitors as needed

Requirements:

Must have at least 6 months of prior security experience

Must have a valid and active NYS Security Guard License

Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required by campus)

Must have reliable transportation – the location has limited public transit access

Must be professional, punctual, and dependable

Strong communication and observational skills
