Level Up by NewForce: Session 1 - SQL

NewForce's Level Up program is an effort to support the growth of program graduates beyond their original training by attending to the technical and professional skills necessary to "level up" in their careers. Topics will vary with each iteration, drawing on insight from employers and stakeholders to ensure skill demand and relevance.

We invite you to re-engage with NewForce in our first iteration of Level Up, beginning in early March 2025. With Instructor Barry Griffith at the helm, participants will take a deeper dive into SQL through a combination of lectures and applied work through our partnership with DataCamp.

Requirements

• Must be a NewForce Program graduate (any cohort)
• Must be available for a 1-hour weekly session from 12:00 - 1:00pm (specific day TBD)
• Must be committed to full attendance and participation throughout the 8-week program

Benefits

In the same spirit as the traditional NewForce program, Level Up is offered free of charge for participants. Level Up participants are not eligible for our living stipend or laptop rental programs; however, they will be able to take advantage of a free DataCamp license through December 2025.
