Senior Oracle Database Administrator

The Work:

• Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes).
• Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands.
• Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Here's what you need:

• Experience in managing oracle database version 19C, dataguard and OEM Cloud Control 13c.
• Database experience of working in different OS platform like Unix, Linux, and Windows.
• Write custom SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripts to enhance/add Database, ETL and reporting functionalities.
• Designs, implements, and maintains complex databases with respect to JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
• Database performance tuning, database upgrades, and database patching to all COTS database products.
• Conducts quality control and auditing of databases in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
• Applies knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and programming languages (e.g., SQL). Performs database programming and supports systems design.
• Active Secret clearance requirement 

 

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
