About the role
As a Van Operations & Key Services Specialist for KeyMe Locksmiths, you will be a crucial part of our program. Your role involves working alongside a team of Sales Reps across various retail locations within your market. As a Van Operations & Key Services Specialist, you will be responsible for the travel, management, operation, and storage of the KeyMe Locksmiths van, as well as key duplication and programming services.
Pay: $40/hour
- $30/hour with a $10/key sold incentive
- Leadership and Supervision
- Lead a team of brand ambassadors for activations.
- Oversee all local staff, reporting team updates and issues to the Mosaic management team.
- Event Operations
- Manage set-up, tear down, and day-to-day operations of assets during events.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards as per safety guidelines.
- Provide key duplication and fob programming services at retail partner locations.
- Operate KeyMe mobile equipment to cut keys and program key fobs to customer’s vehicles.
- Troubleshoot issues with key cutting and programming hardware/software.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and technical precision.
- Maintain inventory of key blanks, fobs, and other supplies.
- Document service calls and maintain accurate records.
- Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, clients, and field teams.
- Serve as the main point of contact for local retailers, staff, and client communications.
- Logistics and Inventory
- Track inventory in van and at regional storage locations, including product ordering and receiving.
- Own and manage activations from start to finish, including logistical planning and duties.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Complete daily travel/driving logs.
- Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance of vans and various equipment.
- Provide daily field reporting to the Mosaic management team.
- Fleet Management
- Monitor the fleet’s condition, reporting damages and repairs required to the Mosaic management team.
- Experience
- Previous experience in team leadership roles.
- Ability to lead a team of brand ambassadors for activations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel to different retail locations.
- Event Operations Skills
- Proficiency in managing set-up, tear-down, and day-to-day operations of assets during events.
- Proficiency with vehicles and/or other technical trades.
- Communication and Relationship Building
- Excellent communication skills to serve as the main point of contact for local retailers, staff, and clients.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, clients, and field teams.
- Logistics and Organization
- Experience tracking inventory, including product ordering, and receiving.
- Health and Safety Awareness
- Understanding of health and safety standards as per safety guidelines.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness during all activations.
- Driving and Reporting
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to complete daily travel/driving logs.
- Adaptability and Ownership
- Flexibility to own and manage activations from start to finish, including logistical planning and duties.
- Technical Proficiency
- Comfort using company software for documentation and communication.
- Experience with automotive key programming or locksmithing preferred.
- Technical aptitude with mechanical and electronic systems preferred.
