Accounting Manager

Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Accounting Manager for a Direct Hire role with a local manufacturing client in Emporia, VA.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Month-end closing
• Accounts receivable and collections
• Bank reconciliation, transaction recording, and posting journal entries
• Payroll processing, payroll reconciliation, and payroll journal entries (preferred experience with ADP)
• 401k reconciliation and processing of Form 5500
• ERP experience, ideally with M3 Infor
• Solid understanding of trial balance, and the ability to generate income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Sales tax compliance, including tax exemption requirements
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
