Job Summary

The Senior HRIS Analyst serves as a senior level subject matter expert in the development, analysis, and implementation of IT initiatives and systems to support multiple and diverse business groups, management, and the IT teams.


Job Description
 

Essential Functions

  • Configures complex Workday business processes in HCM, workflows, and advanced compensation, benefits, time, absences, talent, and performance.
  • Responsible for translating business needs to system design, conduct system/data analysis, and participating in testing and deployment activities.
  • Functions as subject matter expert to optimize use of Workday and HR technology solutions for enhanced operations and consistent user experience.
  • Leads and manages major Workday releases, to include researching new functionality and educating the HR team on enhancements as applicable.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, test plans and test cases.
  • Identifies impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release and direct regression testing and introduction of required changes as new releases are introduced.
  • Communicates new or modified functionality to support team/HR for training and operational impacts.
  • Leads testing strategy and efforts for system and user acceptance testing.
  • Partners with and provide support to the manager on HR technology roadmap to include leading prioritization, research, resolution, change management and issue management.
  • Works with functional team members to understand requirements and communicate system capabilities/limitations.
  • Manages Role-Based Security.
  • Creates advanced reports for management reporting that include derived fields.
  • Supports other HR systems.
  • Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of HRIS system, Workday. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including how to use Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and other functions necessary to conduct ad-hoc data audits.
  • High proficiency in making decisions by consistently proposing quality solutions and answers to issues by gathering extensive data, conducting research, and presenting a recommended solution to all parties involved.
  • Skill in analytics, problem-solving, and decision-making, and technical implementation. 
  • Ability to identify and translate business issues into questions that can be answered through improved configuration set-up.
  • Ability to research new functionality using Workday Community and build out configuration in the test environments, coordinate test case documentation, and research. 
  • Ability to take innovative initiative and meet critical deadlines. 
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; including oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills; with ability to adjust style, content and deliver effective presentations to the target audience.
  • Team-oriented with ability to build relationships and foster trust at all levels of the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: 

  •  High school diploma or GED

 EXPERIENCE: 

  •   Five (5) years of experience configuring Workday modules.

 EQUIVALENCIES: 

  •   Associate degree (or higher) in any field plus three (3) years of the required experience will qualify.

$66,743.57 - $83,429.47
