Overview

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and hands-on Clinical Product Owner to join our team!

 

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Senior Director of Clinical Products will be responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for all our clinical products including our EMR platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class user experiences for our customers.

 

Location: Candidates local to the Franklin/Nashville, TN area are preferred. 

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for clinical products, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic goals and priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including build, design, and clinical teams, to drive the development and delivery of new features and functionality vendor-supplied clinical applications.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and pain points and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Prioritize product backlogs based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals, and ensure that the development team is delivering value to the customer.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including usage, adoption, and customer satisfaction, and make data-driven decisions to improve the product.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends and use that knowledge to inform product strategy and roadmap.
  • Work with distributed teams during build & QA to provide guidance and ensure business requirements and functional specifications are met in all vendor-supplied clinical applications.
  • Anticipate clients’ future needs by maintaining current customer journey maps and advocacy with customer groups.
  • Act as the primary liaison and ambassador for the application both with internal and external audiences, including authority for approval of features and change messaging for end users prior to each release.
  • Evaluate product performance and return on investment.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with other product owners or program managers across the enterprise.
  • Understand business and end-user needs; identify and prioritize features to be delivered to meet those needs.
  • Participate in sprint planning to determine the team’s objectives for the upcoming sprint.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, story refinements, and team retrospectives; ensure the team has a clear understanding of priorities and next steps.
  • Act as IT lead for the EMR the governance meeting to present the output from the vendor releases and internal configuration sprints to key stakeholders.
  • Analyze feedback from sprint reviews, and other data such as end user feedback and operational metrics, to identify and understand product needs.
  • Set expectations with business stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the healthcare technology industry.
  • Experience working with EMR systems, with a deep understanding of behavioral healthcare clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful products, from ideation to launch, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
